Weekly Land Auction Results in Iowa

It was a steady week on sale prices this week but, the weather cannot say the same. Wet conditions continue around much of the region and 4-5 inches of rain is set to head into North central Iowa this week. This area has been getting a surplus of rain since planting season. We saw a price high in Calhoun County sold by Iowa Land Company. This sale was contested buy both local money and outside investors. The auction platform is the absolute best way to find true market value. Other great sales took place in Marshall and Hardin Counties. More farms will continue to come to the market. We have sales coming in Adair County, Palo Alto County, and Jefferson County to name a few. Until then we wait for cooler temps to arrive and the rain the move out. Our farmers need a break and sunny conditions will do that.
