Weekly Land Auction Results in Iowa
31 different tracts of land were brought to the market using the auction method this week across the state of Iowa. 30 of the 32 tracts of land did meet the sellers expectations and did sell using the auction method. That’s nearly a 94% success rate. Auctions work when selling high quality farmland! This weeks sale highlights include a two tracts of land that sold in Cherokee County for $13,700 and acre and $14,700 an acre. Both of the farms had a CSR2 of 92 and greater. Another farm highlight was a farm in Tama County that sold for $10,000 an acre. As crops finish coming out of the field we look to see more farms coming to the market.
