We had local bidders along with outside interest. Bidding was very active amongst the crowed with several participants. The hammer dropped at $8,125 per acre selling to a investor from Georgia. The 106 acre farm held a 84.5 CSR2 consisting of 100 tillable acres. 2018 showed that quality farms are holding there value on a state wide basic. B grade farms are starting to soften in areas that are wet. The 2019 is yet to be determined, if you are considering selling farmland I would say the earlier the better.
