It was a strong week last week for land auctions across the state, sales volume was higher than the first weeks of June rounding out June. In all 99 counties there were 15 different tracts of land offered for public auction. Of the 15 auctions 14 of the farms did meet the sellers expectations, therefore “sold”. Last week’s highlight was a Linn County farm sale that brought $10,200 and acre which had a soil rating of 79.9 CSR2.
