Iowa land broker Matt Skinner is no stranger to what makes up Iowa Land. Growing up on a vegetable farm in Northwest Iowa he became “in tune” the hard way, at a early age the amount of sweat, equity, and hard work that went into financing and operating a profitable farm. Matt is a successful entrepreneur, getting involved in real estate at a early age. With having partnered in a real estate investment company it gave him unique education and experience with real estate. That ignited a fire in Matt, in hope that one day his passion of working in Iowa land sales would a be life long career. He specializes in farmland and recreational property in North-central and South-central Iowa . Matt currently resides in Central Iowa. In his off time he is hunting whitetails with his brothers in that region. Being In the Land business is more than a career for me. Representing landowners in a land transaction is my career. Buying or selling a farm is one of the biggest financial decisions you can make in life. Emotions run high, I’ve worked through it with clients first hand. I take it on myself to communicate the details to help ease the process of the sale. Cody and Matt Skinner found me the perfect piece of hunting ground that I had wanted all my life.  They first listened to my wants and needs and then identified several farms that they thought would fit the bill.  We thoroughly walked each property.  They knew the properties well and were very helpful in identifying access points, food plot locations and potential stand set ups. Matt, I want to thank you again for all of your effort in effecting the sale of our north Lucas County farm.

Though there was great interest right from the time that I announced my intention to sell, much of that interest, as I expect normally occurs, was from the good ole boys who wanted to get in early and buy at 1980 prices, and  there were many others interested who really dream of owning a farm, but who do not have the resources to buy, and also of course there were some who had serious interest; you were very good to quickly sort out the serious buyers.

I knew if I accepted every lowball offer that was made, I would just be piling up $180/hr time for my attorney to answer, so I rejected all such offers that got to me, and I know of some that you discouraged before coming to me.

The property aerial You-tube video that you made, was very effective to showplace the farm. Everyone that I sent it to, that I spoke to, was very impressed.  I believe the video had over 500 views.

By your having that ability to produce a video of that caliber you have a very effective tool for the sale of property.
