Now is a great time to look back at the auction results from 2019 for Harrison County, Iowa.In 2019, Harrison County had 8 farms sell on by live public auction. Farmland values ranged from $6,000 to $9,200 per acre which 80% of were tillable tracts. Overall, an active year for 2019 but it should be noted that 6 of the 10 farms were sold on the same day. These 6 farms were part of a 1,600+ acre liquidation in the late summer months. Of these 426 acres sold on August 16th in Harrison County, the highlight farm was a 78.3 acre tract bringing $9,200 per acre carrying a CSR2 average of 68.9 on the 75 cropland acres. The price per CSR2 point for 2019 was $93.46 Keep in mind, some farms brought in the mid 80s per point and others brought $115-140 per point, depending on quality and location.
